Fundraising
Fundraising at the Ann Arbor Co-op consists of a variety of popular activities established by the fundraising committee. The fundraising policy of the Ann Arbor Co-op has been one built on the spirit of volunteering one's time, talent, and/or money. Fundraising is an essential portion of the co-op's operating budget, contributing to expenses such as rent, payroll and insurance. It allows the school to keep its tuition as low as possible and therefore accessible to a diverse population. Participation in fundraising activities is not mandatory, but members are encouraged to participate to the best of their ability.
**The 2008-2009 school year is more important than ever for the fundraising team. We not only have to reach our fundraising goal, but we also generate funds to cover our recent move and renovation of our new home in FBC.
**Please e-mail us your address so we can send you an invitation to the upcoming Auction. Thank you for supporting AACN!

Ongoing
Scrip
The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of non profit organizations to purchase large amounts of gift certificates from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because the gift certificates are purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. Our organization buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value. The discount - from two to fifteen percent or more - is our organization's revenue.
Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families don?t have to sell anything. We produce revenue by making regular household purchases we would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with these gift certificates.
EGGS Grocery Cards
We have some great gift cards for Hillers, Whole Foods, Busch’s & more. Call Lori Milliman to purchase some of these cards… you shop there anyways, why not support our school at the same time?!
Books by Chance
AACN alum's John Weise and Stephanie Bentley sell your used and new books, CD's, and DVD's online and give the Co-op a nice percentage. We make on average $200.00 a month. This is an easy way for the Co-op to fundraise. Please visit them online at www.booksbychance.com
