Welcome
At the Ann Arbor Co-op, parents and the teacher work together to provide a warm, friendly and safe environment for children to grow and learn. Our children are encouraged to explore and develop their cognitive, social, emotional and creative capabilities through the magic of play.
Play is extremely important to children. It helps them to learn about themselves and others. Play provides time to explore their world and experiment with acting out the many roles they see there. It is through play that children feel joy and acceptance, which helps build self-confidence and feelings of fulfillment.
Children are always the first priority at Ann Arbor Co-op. Founded in 1937, ours is the oldest co-op preschool in Michigan. Because of the dedication of our families, the Ann Arbor Co-op carries on its tradition of excellence and caring year after year.
